Welcome to my website

Hello, I’m Jane, and a very warm welcome to you here at The Counselling Couch.
Counselling offers an opportunity, over either short, or long-term periods, to help you bring about effective change or enhance your wellbeing. My role as a counsellor is to support and enable you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours by talking openly and freely. I’m here to listen without judgement, without giving unsolicited advice, and without bringing in my own experiences. My time is fully focused on YOU – your thoughts, feelings, and growth. Unlike a friend, I’m trained to gently explore the deeper layers of what you’re going through, help you make sense of patterns, and support you in finding your own answers. It’s a space that’s completely yours – confidential, safe, and centred around your healing and self-discovery.
Whether you’re in a crisis or simply curious about yourself, talking to a counsellor can be a meaningful step toward healing, growth, and clarity.

What is Integrative Counselling?

Integrative counselling is all about finding the right approach that works for you. Instead of sticking to just one method, it combines different types of therapy, so I can use what works best for you and your unique situation. This approach is flexible. It’s about understanding your needs, challenges, and goals, and then tailoring the therapy to help you feel supported and heard. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, past trauma, or just life’s curveballs, integrative counselling offers a personalised way to work through it. It’s not about one-size-fits-all – it’s about you and what feels right for you.
